Concrete Sealing Sydney
Sealing puts a protective layer over your concrete so water, oil, mould and UV stop working on it. On an already resurfaced or decorative surface, a wash and reseal every couple of years is what keeps it looking like the day it was finished.
Protect the surface before it needs replacing
Sydney weather is hard on outdoor concrete. Sun fades it, rain and shade grow mould in it, and every summer of pool traffic and sunscreen leaves something behind. A sealed surface resists all of it and cleans far more easily.
We recommend a wash and reseal roughly every two years on resurfaced driveways and outdoor areas. It is a small, inexpensive job that repeatedly saves people from a much larger one.
Sealing also deepens colour. Faded charcoal or brown resurfacing comes back up noticeably, so the surface reads as refreshed rather than merely protected.
What sealing actually does
Blocks stains before they set
Oil drips, leaf tannin, red wine and barbecue fat sit on top instead of soaking into the concrete.
Slows mould and weathering
Water stops penetrating the surface, which is what mould and freeze damage need to take hold.
Brings the colour back
A reseal noticeably lifts faded decorative and coloured finishes.
Anti-slip options
Additives can be specified for pool surrounds, ramps and anywhere that gets wet and sloped.

Site visit and quote
We come out, look at the actual condition of your concrete, and bring sample boards so you can see and hold the finishes in person. Choosing a colour off a screen is guesswork. We take the details back to the office and come back to you with pricing.

Preparation and repairs
We grind the surface rather than pressure washing or acid washing it. Cracks, spalling and damage are repaired and reinforced first. This step is the one that decides how long the finish lasts.

Application
The resurfacing material, polish or coating goes down using systems matched to the surface and how it will be used. Patterns and colours are laid to the finish you signed off at quote.

Sealing and curing
A high-quality sealer locks the surface against stains and wear. Keep vehicles off a resurfaced driveway for up to four days so it fully cures, then it is yours.
