Who we are
Concrete Lifestyle Australia was built on a simple idea: most concrete that people want to rip out does not need to go anywhere. It needs grinding back, repairing, and finishing properly.
Behind that is 16 years and more of trade experience working Sydney concrete, and it is the reason we grind every surface rather than pressure washing it. We work with leading suppliers so the products going onto your place are the most durable available rather than the cheapest.
In 2022 we moved to a private company, which formalised what we were already doing. We are fully insured and set up to handle anything from a single garage floor to a full home and surrounding outdoor areas.
No subcontractors, ever
Damien quotes your job and Damien does your job. The person who stood on your driveway, showed you the sample boards and gave you the price is the person who turns up and lays it. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor at any point.
We are direct about why this matters. Nearly every failed job we get called out to repair failed at preparation, and preparation is exactly the step that gets rushed when the person doing it did not price the work and will not be the one coming back if it lifts in three summers.
It also means there is never a question about who to talk to. If something is not right, you ring the man who did it.
What we will and will not do
We work exclusively with existing concrete. Resurfacing, polishing, epoxy systems, micro-toppings, grinding, preparation and sealing. We do not pour new concrete, and we would rather tell you that in the first thirty seconds of a phone call than waste a week of your time.
We will also tell you when resurfacing is the wrong answer. If a slab is heaving, sinking or badly broken up, no amount of surface work fixes it, and putting a finish over that would be taking your money for something that will fail. That conversation happens at the quote.
How we quote
Damien or one of the team comes out, assesses the actual condition of the surface, and brings sample boards so you can see and touch the finishes in person. Colour on a phone screen is nothing like colour on a driveway in Sydney sun. We take the brief back to the office and come back to you with pricing.
From there, everything is on the table before we start: the preparation method, the system going down, the colour, the cure time, and what maintenance it will want in a couple of years.
