- “Mine is cracked”
- Fine surface cracking is normal and gets repaired and reinforced as part of preparation. Wide cracks that are still moving are a different matter, and we will tell you at the quote if resurfacing is the wrong answer.
- “It is old stencil or stamped concrete”
- This is our single most common job. Dated stencil patterns are exactly what resurfacing was made to fix, and you can go plain or choose a new pattern.
- “It is stained with oil and tyre marks”
- Grinding takes the contaminated top layer off before anything new goes down. A darker finish like charcoal, or a flecked one, then hides future marks far better.
- “The colour has faded badly”
- If the surface is otherwise sound, a wash and reseal may be all it needs, which costs a fraction of resurfacing. We will say so rather than upsell you.

Keep the cars off for up to four days
The sealer needs to cure fully before it takes vehicle weight. Foot traffic is fine much sooner. Plan where you will park before we start.

Reseal roughly every two years
A wash and reseal keeps the colour up and the protection intact. It is a small job that repeatedly prevents a big one.
- 03
Choose colour against the house, not the driveway
Hold the sample board up next to your brickwork and roof in daylight. Charcoal suits rendered and modern homes, brown sits better with warm brick.
